Canada Post's recently created Digital Delivery Network organization is delivering new data products and services to Canadian business that help them provide the right message to the right household. This is an opportunity for an experienced, confident and successful leader to take centre stage in leading this Big Data evolution - making a lasting imprint on the company, country and career in the process.

In August 2011, Canada Post embarked upon its evolutionary journey with the announcement of a new division - the Digital Delivery Network division, the mandate of which is to create Data Products and Services that will allow businesses to accurately and efficiently connect with consumers who are looking for their goods and services.

Reporting to the Director, Product Management, the Manager, Product Management Targeting and Data Services will manage the introduction and maintenance of new value added products and services into the Targeting and Data Solutions group. As Manager, you will be accountable for ensuring that new Targeting and Data products and services meet specifications, while achieving strategic, corporate and operating goals.

The successful candidate will:
� Develop and manage the new product specifications and business cases for leadership and funding approval.
� Develop and implement, with guidance from the Director of Product Management, annual objectives, strategies and plans for the new value added services, including business, product, marketing and operational plans to support delivery of financial targets and strategic objectives.
� Manage internal relationships and recommend changes, enhancements or solutions to products or marketing programs to increase revenue, strengthen delivery of Partner ROI, and/or maximize customer loyalty for the new products and features.
� Develop and implement ongoing business reviews, to ensure delivery of targets and broader business objectives, including strategies to mitigate shortfalls and/or capture incremental opportunities.
� Develop strong relationships with the Partners and fully understand their business, including the industry/environment in which they compete.
� Recognize risks and opportunities based on customer insights, market scans, trends and analyses, and recommend appropriate business strategies.
� Identify the need for, and facilitate the development of, new or modified products and our usability based on user feedback and product results, and/or to meet changing optimal operating conditions, review initiatives from other functions to ensure their acceptability from the point of view of product, and operational impacts, and incorporate approved changes into product plans.
� Prepare product strategies as the primary input for the formulation of corporate strategies, and evaluate strategic options from a Direct Mail perspective.
� Monitor the effectiveness of the Corporation's implementation of marketing, product and pricing strategies and plans, and recommend corrective action as appropriate.

Job requirements (Education and Work experience):
� A passion for all things digital and the need to stay ahead of an ever-evolving data and targeting landscape.
� Initiative, a strong strategic sense and the need to deliver an exceptional consumer experience.
� Post-secondary education, preferably in Commerce or Marketing; an MBA would be an asset.
� At least 4 years of experience in product management or product marketing, delivering outstanding consumer experiences using Data and Targeting Solutions.
� A full understanding of all facets of Direct Mail/Database Marketing execution.
� Demonstrated product development skills with an emphasis on Direct Mail implementations.
� Proven ability working with a variety of internal stakeholders and getting to consensus.
� Excellent communication skills.
� Excellent analytical skills.
� Strong coaching, mentoring and training skills.

As part of the selection process selected candidates will be required to complete a security screening process
