In 2013, I was elected as the Marketing VP for my university’s Chinese Students Scholars Association. My leadership responsibilities included generating funds and finding ways to strengthen our organization’s brand and public presence. It gave me the ability to oversee our marketing strategies and prioritize operations. Working with my team to share powers and give each other space in order to collaborate effectively is one of the most important lessons I have learned. It has enabled me not only to develop my two-way communication, but also to build strong relationships and foster team harmony.
After graduation in 2015, I volunteered for two weeks as a presentation assistant at the Parapan American Games in Toronto, for athletes with physical disabilities. I helped to manage and liaise with our Sport Presentation team and other functional areas on behalf of the team manager. A total of 41 countries were represented, including many Latin American countries. Volunteering has helped to expand my awareness of cultural values and introduced me to a great diversity of people. The experience enabled me to connect with people despite differences and convinced me that I can adapt in foreign situations. I can therefore imagine how a five-month international exchange study period would better equip me in a business education setting.
Besides my studies and work, in 2014 I co-founded a podcast called Girls Daily Talk Show with a friend. We wanted to include humor on the podcast to attract people, but we realized that humor depends a lot on cultural context, so even if we possess the necessary language skills to communicate, foreign audiences still might not find our jokes funny. Fortunately, our sense of humor and unique style of broadcasting, helped by my co-hosts curating of our scripts, differentiated us from many other overseas podcasts. Broadcasting greatly expanded our audiences and shared our lives in a special way. More importantly, it helped our audiences to embrace differences in culture.

蔡珍妮于2015年毕业于西安大略大学 (Western University) 人力资源 (HR Specialization)，2017年毕业于(Smith School of Business) 皇后大学史密斯商学院 (Master of International Business) 国际商务专业，期间曾在荷兰Maastricht University 交换学习4个月。2014年与好友创立荔枝电台 “女神经日常” 畅谈加国学习和多伦多海外生活，到目前为止有超过7000粉丝，节目收听量37万次。2017年参加由Queen's MBA 承办的Mars Discovery Case Competition获得第一名。曾任2016年Innovation Summit Ambassador, 现任Queen's MIB Program Ambassador。在欧洲交换学习期间去过25座城市，12个国家旅行；热爱帮助别人并实现自我价值，喜爱读Dan Ariely关于行为经济学的书籍 ，坚信稻盛和夫“敬天爱人”的信条。
