小心靠近：多伦多吃停车告票最多的16个地方

多伦多每年开出的违规停车告票成千上万，市府最新统计数据显示新宁医院(Sunnybrook Hospital)是多伦多第一开停车告票的地方，去年一年开出告票8,966张，平均每天就开出25张告票，当之无愧成为多伦多告票王。

仅次于新宁医院的是位于Yonge St和 Dundas St. W.附近的Edward街20号，士嘉堡悬崖公园、Yorkdale商场则分列第三第四名。新宁医院泊车和交通主管Julia Saca说﹐被罚款的原因主要包括﹕在私人物业泊车、未获许可下泊车和在不允许泊车的时段在街头泊车等等。Julia Saca说，因为医院的特殊性经常有病人要求取消告票。比如预约看病的时间超过预料或者有人因送家人来看急诊等，很多情况下院方都会撤销病人的告票。估计新宁医院开出发告票有约一半被撤销。

多伦多退休律师John Weingust批评说，多伦多有许多地方的停车场其系统设计就是打算通过罚款从司机身上搜刮更多钱财，这几乎已经成为一个新税种。
